Conference AUW 2022

ALICE Upgrade Week will be held in Prague from September 19 to 23, 2022, hosted by the Czech institutions: Czech Technical University, Nuclear Physics Institute and Physics Institute of Czech Academy of Sciences. We will review and discuss the progress of the ongoing R&D and the preparation of the Technical Design Reports for the upgrades for Run 4 (ITS3 and FoCal). For ALICE 3, we will discuss the R&D plans for the different subsystems and scoping scenarios. We will also organise a session where teams or countries can outline their interests and capabilities for the development and construction of ALICE 3. New physics opportunities with this novel compact detector in the study of quark-gluon plasma and other areas will be reviewed and debated. We expect to schedule sessions from Monday afternoon until Friday morning.
